OneFootball named as a Premium Partner of the #SFS22
Rome, 21 September 2022 – OneFootball, the world’s largest football media platform, has been named as a Premium Partner of the Social Football Summit 2022, which this year will be held on September 27 and 28 at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico. As part of its Premium Partnership, OneFootball is set to host an exhibition area at the conference and participate in several panel sessions throughout the two days, where speakers will focus on the company’s recent strategic moves in Italy – which have included a world-first Web3 partnership with Lega Serie A and the acquisition of media rights at all levels of the Italian men’s professional game.
Since it was founded in 2008 by Lucas Von Cranach, OneFootball has continually strived to bring innovation to football media consumption, finding new ways to serve the beautiful game to the next generation of football fans, with a single promise: no one gets you closer. OneFootball underlined the importance of Italy to its offering earlier this year by launching its first Web3 product there, helping Lega Serie A to become the first major football league in the world to launch a series of collectible digital video moments, which became available to fans this month.
Through its partnerships with the leagues and broadcasters, OneFootball also has live streaming or highlights rights to matches from Italian Serie A, Serie B and Serie C, serving Italian football fans at all levels, while it also helps to distribute Italian football in the USA, the UK and Ireland, and beyond.
Social Football Summit founder Gianfilippo Valentini said: “A very important partnership has been forged with OneFootball, strengthening our content proposal and enhancing our ability to address to the global football market. For several years SFS and OneFootball have enjoyed an editorial collaboration together, which is now strengthened by their attendance at SFS22. Welcoming OneFootball as a Premium Partner, with their own exhibition space, allows us to have much greater touchpoint with their offering.”
The Social Football Summit, in its fifth edition this year, is a collaboration between Go Project and Social Media Soccer, created in 2017 as an international event dedicated to innovation and digital transformation in the football industry. Over the years, it has become a professional reference point for the sports sector as a whole. Through the involvement of stakeholders including Clubs, Federations, Media and Companies, SFS presents and analyzes the latest and most relevant market trends and innovations.
#SFS22 will see more than over 50 panels running over two stages across the two days, alongside three dedicated halls, an Innovation Park, a Networking Area and a Masterclass Area. Presented in Italian and English, #SFS22 will also be accessible digitally via the event’s social channels and on the Twitch channel of @FantacalcioTV.
