Clara Simonini
Clara Simonini is graduated in Communication Science and Technology from the University of Ferrara and then pursued an international master's degree in Strategic Management of Organizations, Events and Sports Facilities at the University of Parma and San Marino at the MasterSport Institute. In July 2018 she joined UEFA's LOC as Venue Manager Assistant for the organization of the under-21 European Championships in the Bologna venue where Italy, Spain, Poland, one of the two semifinals were playing, dealing with the all-round management of venue & match operations. In the same year she coordinated, as Venue Operations and Broadcasting Manager Assistant, the national and international media activities of the Italian Major National Team matches for UEFA competitions (UEFA Nations League, European Qualifiers and friendly matches). At the end of the experience with the National Teams, in November 2019, she joined Bologna FC 1909 in the marketing department. As of now she holds the role of Sustainability & Marketing Manager dealing mainly with Corporate Social Responsibility, both planning and operational and the Partnership Account part through the negotiation and implementation of sponsorship contracts and on field and visibility activities with sponsors on match days and extra match days. From this sports season she is the club's Disability Access Officer (DAO) for UEFA dealing with inclusion and accessibility within the stadium with the goal of helping everyone, including people with disabilities, to enjoy soccer and make it as accessible as possible.
