Luca Pardo graduated in Law at LUISS University of Rome in 1996, where he served as a researcher in EU Law. He also served as officer for the Italian Guardia di Finanza and has taught EU Law at "Scuola di Polizia economico-finanziaria della Guardia di Finanza". He is qualified to practice before all Italian and European High Courts. He is Founding Partner at Ontier Italy. His practice focuses mainly on corporate law and commercial law, contracts drafting at both national and international level, EU law, intellectual and industrial property law, entertainment law and fashion law; he is the author of some chapters of "FASHION LAW - DERECHO DE LA MODA" edited by Ontier, Ceca Magàn and Elzaburu and published by Thomson Reuters-Aranzadi, and "TRANSFORMACIÓN HACIA LA SOSTENIBILIDAD - TRANSFORMATION TOWARDS SUSTAINABILITY", edited by Ontier and IE University Law School and published by Thomson Reuters-Aranzadi). Luca also assists many companies in the internationalization process. He is Secretary General to the “Fondazione O’Scià”, founded and promoted by the famous Italian singer and artist Claudio Baglioni. He attended several international seminars at the Temple University of Philadelphia, such as “Specialisation in US Commercial Law”, “Comparative Civil Litigation”, “International Contract Drafting”. He completed a Master in Family Business at the Instituto de Empresa of Madrid. He is member of the Blockchain Commission of “OnGranada Tech City”, which represents more than 640 companies with the support of institutions, business organizations and excellence centers of Andalusia; it is now the main business cluster of Andalusia in the fields of technology and biotechnology. In the new sector of e-Sports, he presented the "Legal Guide on e-Sports" as Legal Innovation Partner of the "Social Football Summit" in Rome, which took place at the Stadio Olimpico on November 20 and 21, 2019. Since 2020 he has been teaching at the Masters of B&C Tech Law, Business and Company Law, Fashion Law, Food Law and Art Law organised by the School of Law of the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. In May 2020 he issued a Comment on the White Paper of the European Commission of 19 February 2020 on Artificial Intelligence. He also provided a comment to the document of the Italian Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico titled "Proposte per la strategia italiana in materia di tecnologie basate su registri condivisi e blockchain". Luca was one of the speakers at "Legal Tech Forum 2020" with a contribution in "Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence and the Law". He took care at global level about the contents of the Ontier BitLaw Summit 2022, an event that took place in Naples on June 21-22 on the subject of new technologies applied to law (blockchain, bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, metaverse and artificial intelligence) and attended by institutions and companies active both at national and international level. His mother language is Italian and he is fluent at English and Spanish.
