Pick Eat<\/strong> is the startup project that won the SFS Extratime – Almaviva competition!<\/p>\n

The idea, conceived during the Go To Silicon Valley Study Tour 2020<\/strong>, was developed by a team of young individuals sharing a single goal: revolutionizing the food & beverage sector.<\/p>\n

How?<\/strong> By reducing delivery wait times for customers and providing a more efficient service. The fan experience remains intact while increasing the operator’s revenues and fan satisfaction. All of this is within reach through a smartphone app that seamlessly integrates with events, matches, or festivals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The startup competition of this seventh edition of the SFS has officially come to an end!<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the numerous applications received, only eight startups were able to participate in the pitch competition. The challenge took place on November 19 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, in the Training Room, in front of a qualified jury that selected the winner.<\/span><\/p>\n

The selected startups \u2014 six Italian and two international \u2014 presented innovative solutions for the Football Industry. Operating in strategic and foundational sectors for the SFS, each project was carefully evaluated.<\/span><\/p>\n

PickEat Srl<\/b> won the final prize, thanks to a winning idea that we will present to you in depth soon. SFS EXTRATIME 2025<\/strong>, organized in collaboration with AlmavivA<\/strong>, is the startup competition by SFS that rewards the most innovative solutions dedicated to the world of football and sports. The initiative is aimed at Italian and international startups and SMEs with projects capable of generating a tangible impact in four key areas: technologies and performance, fan engagement and new experiences, business models and sustainability, and media, content, and entertainment.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Wovlabs<\/a> <\/b><\/strong>won the SFS Extratime Start Up Competition, held in collaboration with Almaviva. The company is positioning itself as a key player in the football industry, thanks to constant technological development that is set to revolutionize sports and football merchandising.<\/p>\n

The startup specializes in Digital Product Passports (DPP)<\/b><\/strong>, which will become crucially important starting in 2027, when new European Union regulations will make them mandatory for all products sold in the region. These digital profiles will have to contain structured, detailed data on the materials used, repairability, origin, and environmental impact of each item.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Wovlabs’ innovative solutions, as Authentica, all this data can be easily accessed by consumers via a smart tag applied directly to the item. The startup’s goal is twofold and clear: to extend the life cycle of products, reduce waste, and offer consumers reliable and easy-to-consult information, even after purchase. Wovlabs is therefore the ideal stakeholder for companies that want to build solid brand loyalty<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0and facilitate more informed purchasing decisions by their customers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

        Challenge between 8 startups, each having 4 minutes to present their pitch. The jury selects 4 startups with a score from 1 to 10 for the next phase.<\/p>\n
