Alessandro Mantelli

Alessandro Mantelli has been involved in system integration, enterprise and solution architecture, project and product management for more than 20 years, building technologically innovative solutions for the public and private market. Currently Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Almaviva directs and coordinates the strategy of the IT Division regarding technologies and architectures and leads the Architecture & Emerging Technologies team responsible for designing IT architectures and solutions in innovative technological domains such as Web3, Blockchain and decentralized architectures, Internet of Things, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Digital eXperience, Mobile & XR/AR/VR, Digital Compliance and RegTech, as well as overseeing initiatives related to frontier technologies, digital observatories and communities and national research and development projects and European. In the Almaviva Group since 2009, he held the position of head of the IT Architecture team and of the Competence Center on distributed platforms, as well as being Product Manager of the Governance Risk and Compliance platforms. Since 2012 he has managed the Mobile, Enterprise Application Integration, Architecture teams and subsequently the IoT practice, where he led the development of the GIOTTO® platform and set up the Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Technology and Artificial Intelligence Competence Centers. Previously in IBM Italy as IT Architect and Project Manager he dealt with Java Enterprise solutions and Enterprise Application Integration, mainly for the banking and insurance market.
