Roberto Tavani

Graduated in International Political Sciences, always a football lover, fan of Roma and Valladolid. He has been involved in sports policies since 2006 as Councilor of the Rome XVII Municipality where he develops great sensitivity towards sport as a tool for the social and cultural growth of local communities. Since 2008 he has been part of the team of President Nicola Zingaretti in the Province of Rome and in the Lazio Region. He coordinated the Region's participation in the candidacy dossiers of the most important sporting events: from the Olympics - Rome 2024 to the Ryder Cup 2022. He currently manages the main dossiers on regional reference sports projects and initiatives including, recently, a contest against racism for young fans in partnership with the FIGC.
