Extra Time represents the cutting-edge and innovation program of SFS, designed to provide a platform for teams, startups, and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) that offer pioneering products or solutions for the football industry.

Comprising three distinct branches of activity, Extra Time serves as a dynamic hub for innovation and collaboration:

  • Extra Time Startup Competition 2024: This competition invites startups to showcase their groundbreaking ideas and solutions tailored to the needs of the football industry. It offers a unique opportunity for emerging ventures to gain exposure, mentorship, and potential investment.
  • Extra Time Open Innovation 2024-25: Open Innovation fosters collaboration between established organizations and external innovators. Through partnerships, co-creation projects, and knowledge-sharing initiatives, it seeks to accelerate the development and adoption of innovative solutions across the football ecosystem.
  • Extra Time Innovation Scouting: This branch focuses on scouting and identifying promising innovations and trends within the football industry. By staying abreast of emerging technologies and market developments, Extra Time aims to facilitate strategic partnerships and investments that drive growth and competitiveness.

Together, these components of Extra Time form a comprehensive ecosystem that cultivates innovation, fosters collaboration, and propels the football industry into the future.

TRAINING PITCH

Preparing startups for the final pitch presentation. The objectives are to:

  • “Standardize” the content to allow the jury to evaluate pitches characterized by the same type of information 
  • “Train” the startup speakers in time management and optimizing presentation methods

PITCH COMPETITION

First “half”

First “half”

Challenge between 8 startups, each having 4 minutes to present their pitch. The jury selects 4 startups with a score from 1 to 10 for the next phase.

Second “half”

Second “half”

4 startups chosen by the jury advance to this second phase. The startups have 3 minutes to focus on a specific topic. The jury selects the two finalists, again using the 1-10 scale.

FINAL

FINAL

3 minutes for each startup. Presentation of the future PITCH. Each jury member gives their preference to one of the two startups.
