The charity auction organised by the Social Football Summit has ended!
We are pleased to be able to announce that €4,435 was raised by the Robin Hood Roma Onlus Association!
When they won the auction, the successful bidders made their donation directly to the association, so that they could purchase the reagents needed to use an Automatic Haematology Analyser that will be installed at the Haematology Emergency Care Unit at Via Benevento 6, AOU Policlinico Umberto I-Università Sapienza, to optimise the activities of the Paediatric and Adult Rare Haematological Diseases and the Haematology Emergency Care Unit.
The analyser calculates haemoglobin levels, red blood cell counts, platelet counts and white blood cell counts with the leukocyte formula, in such a way as to have the data in real time. In order to work, special reagents are needed, which the Robin Hood Roma Onlus Association has pledged to purchase for approximately 1,500 samples per year, for the next four years.
Thanks to the FIGC, the Lega Serie A clubs, the Lega B clubs and the Lega Pro clubs who donated their products, making this wonderful activity possible.
