Floky at SFS 25: biomechanical science applied to the human body for limitless performance

SFS 25 confirms itself as the stage of excellence where the challenges of the sports business meet the most cutting-edge solutions. In an industry where every detail can make the difference between victory and injury, the focus on sustainable performance and athletic longevity has never been so crucial. It is in this context that we are thrilled to welcome Floky, an Italian start-up that is redefining the boundaries of technical apparel through the fusion of science, patented technology, and profound manufacturing know-how.

Floky does not merely produce sportswear; it develops genuine biomechanical devices that bring innovation directly from the research lab to the playing field. Their presence at SFS 25 underscores the growing importance of data, prevention, recovery, and physical well-being as drivers of success not only for professional athletes but for the entire sporting and commercial ecosystem. The company’s goal is ambitious: to revolutionize the world of sport by ensuring greater athletic longevity for everyone, through products designed for protection and recovery.

Through a partnership with leading figures in international biomechanical science and the adoption of a rigorous methodological approach, Floky presents itself as a game changer that provides real and tangible benefits. We will now discover how this Italian reality is using technology to improve muscular oxygenation, reduce vibrations, and increase motor control, effectively becoming “the key to a sport without limits” that SFS 25 is proud to present.

Italian Know-How at the service of athletic longevity

Floky is an innovative Italian start-up, bolstered by over 30 years of know-how in high-tech screen printing and applications, specializing in the production of biomechanical sportswear.

The company’s vision is clear: to revolutionize the world of sport by introducing highly functional biomechanical devices that contribute to the protection, psycho-physical well-being, and success of all sports enthusiasts, ensuring greater athletic longevity.

Their mission is to combine biomechanical science with a patented printing technology to create products specifically designed for every part of the body and type of sport, with the goal of providing real and tangible benefits during activity and the recovery phase.

Science and technology: the heart of the product

The Floky device is born from the union of biomechanical science and an innovative printing technology with silicone applications. This approach is not random: Floky collaborates with Dr. Mauro Testa, an international technical consultant of reference in the study of ergonomics, posture, and biomechanical science for 30 years. Dr. Testa is also a consultant for important sports clubs, including Sampdoria, Bologna, the Italian National Team, Fidal, and FIFA.

The product development process starts with the study of specific physical issues, such as Achilles tendon inflammation or the generation of muscle strains and contractures, continues with the collection of medical data using wearable instruments, drones, and sensors, and concludes with scientific design and testing. The recorded results, published in the Biomedical Journal of Scientific & Technical Research, demonstrate measurable benefits:

  • +12% muscular oxygenation
  • -23% calf movement/vibrations (vs compression socks)
  • +4.7% speed in running
  • +4.2% motor control
  • -12.7% muscle involvement

The company holds 6 industrial patents and 12 design patents.

The evolution of biomechanical devices

After the launch of the world’s first biomechanical sock, the Run Up Long, in September 2020, Floky has extended its range. In 2023, biomechanical apparel for men was completed with the introduction of the OXY-GEN short- and long-sleeve shirt and the Activator shorts.

The innovation does not stop, and in 2025, the company introduced the Empower line, designed to support fragile areas of the body with devices like the elbow brace, knee brace, and ankle brace, in addition to new products specific for women, such as the SUPPORTER sports bra and the PERFORMER shorts..

Floky’s faces in football and sport

Floky’s presence in the world of football is highlighted by its ambassadors, who include prominent figures such as footballer Martina Piemonte (forward for Everton and the Italian National Team) and footballers Tommaso Cassandro (defender for Como) and Rolando Mandragora (midfielder for Fiorentina).

Other international calibre athletes attest to the products’ effectiveness, including tennis players Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori, who in 2024 won Olympic Gold in women’s doubles (Errani with Jasmine Paolini) and Gold in the US Open mixed doubles Slam. And in Padel, the world number one Agustin Tapia and the world number one female player Paula Josemaria.

With a growing social community and global expansion reaching Europe, Africa, the Americas, the Middle East, Oceania, and Asia, Floky positions itself as “the key to a sport without limits.”
