Rome, 8 November – The Social Football Summit, the event organised by Go Project and Social Media Soccer, returns on 21 and 22 November at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. The b2b event dedicated to the football industry announces the presence of Sky Sport also for this sixth edition.
Sky Sport will cover the event editorially and digitally with reports and interviews from the Olympic Stadium, live on Sky Sport 24 and online on skysport.it. There will also be a presence on Sky Sport’s social networks, which represent an example of excellence in the Italian digital scene in terms of performance and quality. Sky Sport has in fact been the leader in the ranking of the best Italian media for social interactions for four consecutive years. Important numbers were achieved this year, with 650 million total interactions and 1.7 billion video views on the 4 vertical social networks. Particularly relevant is the growth on YouTube in 2023 with 360 million views and TikTok with 850 million views. A contribution, that of social channels, also visible from the Social TV Audience figure, which represents the social ‘talkability’ of Sky’s main programmes and events, with a total of 531 million interactions. On the journalistic side, Rome will be attended by: Luca Marchetti, Mario Giunta, Marina Presello, who will also present the opening event, and commentator Luca Marchegiani.

After the success of the previous editions with over 10,000 participants, the Social Football Summit is now in its sixth edition 21 and 22 Novemberin a completely redesigned Olympic Stadium , is born with a more immersive, integrated and shared format thanks to which participants will experience knowledge sharing, business and networking in the most exclusive spaces of the Stadio Olimpico to welcome over 150 top national and international speakers and stakeholders in the sector. Over 50 panels, 2 stages, 2 dedicated halls, 1 Exhibitor Area, 1 Corporate Area, 1 Networking Area and 1 Private Event Space. With these numbers, #SFS23, in Italian and English, will be visible in digital mode on the swapcard platform.
Within the Social Football Summit, also this year there will be the Football Summit Awards, during the Gala Dinner on 21 November, to celebrate the excellence of the 2022/2023 season with the presentation of more than 15 awards to some of football’s leading players.
